Johnny Nitro was the pre-eminent blues player in the Bay Area and while he may not have had the national recognition of some, he leaves a legacy much more lasting: lives touched and changed, and new generations introduced to the blues

While Johnny may no longer be with us, his passion for the blues and his love of the people he met and played with will continue.
